Wiltshire Ladies' County Golf Association
Our Association was founded in 1910 and it exists to promote the welfare and interests of the women's game in Wiltshire. Our main responsibilites include:
- Organising Championships and Competitions for Wiltshire women and girl golfers

- Developing and encouraging golfing talent
|
- Selecting teams to represent Wiltshire in matches against other Counties
|
- Upholding the Rules of Golf and ensuring the correct application of the CONGU Handicapping System
|
- Providing effective two-way communication between the affiliated clubs and members and the English Women's Golf Association
|
- Standard Scratch Assessment / Course rating

The running of the Association is vested in an Executive Committee consisting of the President, County Captain, Vice Captain, Treasurer, Secretary, Junior Organiser, EWGA South West Delegate and the Competition Secretary. These Committee members all have voting rights. Other members of the Committee are: Vice President (usually the outgoing President), EWGA Handicap Adviser, EWGA Standard Scratch Score Assessor, Assistant Competition Secretary and Assistant Handicap Adviser - click here. Other members can be co-opted onto the Committee to undertake specific duties as necessary. There is also one nominated delegate from each affiliated club who also have voting rights (one vote per club) - see list here.

AFFILIATION FEES
All members of affiliated golf clubs pay annual subscriptions to the English Women's Golf Association, the Ladies' Golf Union and the Wiltshire Ladies' County Association.
These subscriptions are normally collected by the clubs at the same time as the annual club membership fees and, in normal circumstances, any increases are in line with the published Retail Price Index.
Fees for 2012 are:
EWGA £8.90 LGU £2.50* WLCGA £7.33
(* This fee does not apply to junior members)
