The English Girls' Championships were held this year at Ellesborough Golf Club (Buckinghamshire) for the Under 18's and at Mentmore Golf Club in Bedfordshire for the Under 13's and Under 15's.   Five Wiltshire girls took part:

Alex Patton (Manor House & Chippenham)
Under 15's
Sarah Gee (West Wilts)
Kyra Horlock (Cumberwell Park & Broadstone) 
Hannah Stradling (Upavon)  
Under 13's
Alex Feltham (Chippenham)

Kyra Horlock finished 9th in the Under 15's group and both Sarah Gee and Hannah Stradling cut their handicaps.  Sarah produced two under-handicap cards in the four rounds -  a gross 75 in round 1 and a gross 76 in round 3.  Hannah, who was competing at this level for the first time, shot a gross 77 in the second round.
