The County Bowmaker at Hamptworth was won by a team of ladies from North Wilts.  Sue Long, Jane Carver and Vicki Leigh scored 82 stableford points to win the competition by one point. The conditions were not easy with a strong wind blowing all day - but the North Wilts girls didn't seem to notice any of the trouble spots - including the water and the deep rough lurking just off the fairways.    Runners-up with 81 points were Lynn Thornton, Sue Gray and Ros Thompson from Kingsdown, with the home team from Hamptworth (Susan Maslen, Rosemary Probert and Pat Say) taking third place with 79 points.
