ELLENA BECOMES
NEW WILTSHIRE COUNTY GIRLS CHAMPION
OF 2009

Ellena Farrow has won this year's Wiltshire Girls' Championship held at Marlborough Golf Club on 27 August. A gross score of 90 also won her the under-18 title and the under-18 Gross Salver. Ellena is the Girls' County Captain this year and plays at Kingsdown.

2nd gross under-18 winner was Alex Patton with a 92. Alex is a late starter to golf and hadn't picked up a club until just over a year ago. She is now playing off 19 and is a member at Manor House and Chippenham.

The under-15 champion from West Wilts is Freya Danks with a gross 91. She also won the handicap cup with a nett 69. Freya was one of our mini -Eagles squad this year and has-come down from 36 to 22 in a very short time. 2nd nett in the under-15's, also with a score of 69, was Georgia Wise from Kingsdown.

The under-13 Champion is Katie Warren with a gross 91. Katie plays at Wrag Barn and was one of our Eagle squad until last year when she became one of the EWGA South West Super Birdie squad. She now plays off 9. 2nd and 3rd in the under-13's were Charlotte Lucas from High Post and Alex Feltham from Chippenham. Charlotte plays off 12 and Alex 23.
