EMMA SWEEPS THE BOARD AT THE SOUTH WESTERN

West Wilts' Emma Brown almost swept the board in the SW Championships at Trevose in July. In really difficult rain and win, Emma shot a gross 70 in the morning to break the course record, and followed it with a 77 to win the Katherine Cairns Bowl, Fraser Evans Bowl and Intermediate Gross Award.

Emma only just missed out on the Championship itself when she lost to Saunton's Emma Taylor in the final of the matchplay.

Kingsdown's Portia Abbott & Upavon's Bridget Cartwright qualified for the second flight.
